    So what is special about Liberty Green? In a couple of words - a lot! Having sold two homes there in the past few months, I have some insight that others may not have. The community is friendly, inviting, and close to Costco, Route 1 and the Quakerbridge and Mercer Malls. It's also not far from major transportation and the Princeton Junction Train.

    This is one of the few communities in the area with both townhomes and single family homes. The rooms are spacious and floor plans ideal. Some homes have basements but most do not. The Bucknell model is the townhome model sold most often, and there are 2-4 bedroom options available at any given time. In the 3 and 4 bedroom models, the kitchens open up to family rooms and the laundry rooms are on the second floor. The single family Puccini Model has a very desirable layout with a basement. There are not as many of them that come on the market, but when they do, they are usually in great demand.

    The Mozart model of single family home is most often sold and has a bonus room rather than a basement. The single family homes are generally priced in the mid to high $400's. But prices are increasing as the spring market inventory is low. Right now, there are a couple of 2 bedroom townhomes available listed at $349,900 and a 3 bedroom townhome with no basement listed at $369,000.

    Add to all of this the fact that the homes are about 14 to 18 years old, and you have a community that offers a great deal at a reasonable price point. Truly a great value!

    I recently had the opportunity to represent another home buyer in Liberty Green, Lawrenceville. After viewing eight or nine other townhouse communities, some with the same floor plans as Liberty Green, this buyer realized this is the best value. Compared to other higher priced townhouses with very similar floor plans, Liberty Green offers full basements, which many other communities don't offer. Additionally, because each building consists of just two townhouse units, every townhouse here is an end-unit so they are filled with light as they have large windows on three sides. With prices in the mid to high $300's, Liberty Green townhouses are priced up to $100,000 less than many of their competitors for the same size or larger homes!

    Liberty Green is a subdivision of townhomes and detached singles constructed by K. Hovnanian around 2002. The community consists of both single family detached homes and townhomes. There are 2 townhome models, Amherst and Bucknell. The interior living space averages approximately 2,000 square feet in both models. The homes contain 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1 car attached garages. More than half of the townhomes have full basements and prices range from $350-$400k.

    There are 4 single family home models: Bach, Mozart, Puccini and Strauss. The homes each encompass about 2,400 square feet. The typical single family home in Liberty Green has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and 2 car garages. In addition, about half of the homes have full basements. Single family home prices range from $400-$450k. The community features a playground, bike trail and swimming pool. It is located off of Lawrence Station Road and also nearby Quakerbridge Road, Route 1, and I-95 and 295, the development is in close proximity to shopping, entertainment, and mass transit.

    Liberty Green in Lawrenceville has 3-4 bedroom homes and townhouses, some with full basements. This development was built in the mid-1990's and remains very popular. Built around a center park area, most of the homes here back up to either the park or a wooded area.

    The single family colonial style homes are spacious and have either 3-4 bedrooms and 1-2 car garages. The attached, duplex-style townhomes have either 2-3 bedrooms and 1 car garages. The community has tennis courts, playgrounds and a pool. Currently, available homes here start in the low $300's.
