This is such a great playground for little ones, and a relaxing walk around the pond is perfect for a Sunday afternoon. The Muriel Hepner Park is located at approximately 300 Diamond Spring Rd in Denville, NJ. It has a small but fun fenced in playground right next to a very scenic pond with fountain, walking paths, foot bridge and in May and June lily pads are in full bloom. The playground has new equipment, some shade and astro turf
Make a day of it. Stop at Atillios Restaurant which is very family-friendly (they sometimes give the kids pizza dough to play with)! Also enjoy some quiet time at the Denville Museum or Library which are both right down the street. Finish up with a treat from the Viking Bakery or Denville Dairy or Miami Rice Pudding Company in downtown Denville. - See more at: http://www.njplaygrounds.com/4050/muriel-hepner-park-denville-nj/#sthash.ANAWHEAO.dpuf

I was first introduced to Celebrate the Children when a customer of mine was moving into the area because this school was rated so highly for children with special needs. She had an autistic son and this school had great alternatives for him. This client has been happy there ever since because this school did not disappoint! Celebrate the Children is a comprehensive, state approved educational program for students on the Autism Spectrum (PDD-NOS), who have Multisystem Developmental Disorder (MSDD), Regulatory Disorder, ODD, OCD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, expressive language delay, or mild physical disabilities. First located in Wharton, they have just moved into a new facility in Denville. The school has challenging academic programs that fulfill all requirements of the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards (Non-Profit NJDOE Approved School) For more information check out the URL below.

When I first started exploring areas to live in NJ, Denville was one of the ones on top of my list. Coming from NYC, I loved the sweet, quiet difference of the Denville downtown center. With its quaint shops and restaurants and, of course, the great Denville Dairy ice cream ( yummy I might add). It offered a wonderful place to wander on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and I love the street festivals they have during the year. A quiet and quaint town, but by far not boring. My kids and I often frequent Brushes and Bisque for a little ceramic fun. Along with the great schools and lakes in this town, I consider Denville a top notch place to raise a family. Located right off 80 at exit 39.

A small, 34 acre lake just south of Route 46, is precious Lake Arrowhead. Dotted by houses all around, Lake Arrowhead is located in the wonderful town of Denville. It's just a walk to the center of town which is a great community to live in. Lake Arrowhead is great for fishing, paddle boating, kayak and canoeing. No motor boats here, just the quiet feel of nature in this private little lake.
